Set within one of Devonport’s established villa neighbourhoods, this project centred around the transformation of an existing outdoor area into a refined architectural retreat. The brief combined a custom designed pool, sunken entertaining spaces, and layered landscaping, all carefully integrated alongside the original villa.
Off-form concrete walls reference the military bunkers historically found throughout Devonport, bringing texture, permanence, and character to the outdoor spaces. The result is an environment that feels grounded within its coastal setting while delivering a highly functional area for entertaining and everyday living.
