NARROW NECK
Set in one of Auckland's most sought after coastal suburbs, this character home was extended and updated to create a stronger connection between the house and its outdoor spaces, while retaining the character of the original home.
The project centred around a new rear extension, creating a new kitchen and dining area designed to open the home up for modern family living. New timber exterior joinery was installed as part of the works, keeping the addition sympathetic to the existing architecture.
Outside, the transformation continued with a new swimming pool, extensive decking and landscaping, creating a generous outdoor living and entertaining area. A Louvretec pergola provides a covered extension of the living space and allows the outdoor area to be used across the seasons.
The exterior of the entire home was repainted, with interior painting completed throughout the new works, bringing the original home and new addition together.
A considered renovation that gives this Narrow Neck character home more space, better flow and a completely new outdoor living experience, without losing what made the original home special.
