The home was revitalised to extend its life and improve how it functions. Rather than replacing what was there, the approach was to build on it.

An upper-level master suite was introduced, along with a new wing extending toward the coast. The addition increases living space while maintaining the scale and proportion of the original home.

Throughout the build, care was taken to retain the integrity of the existing structure. New elements were designed and constructed to sit comfortably alongside what was already there, ensuring the home feels cohesive rather than altered.

The result is a home that holds its character, while responding to its coastal setting and the way it is now lived in.
